WAN Specialist/ System Engineer
TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced WAN/System Engineer for a contract to hire position in Madison, WI.
The WAN Engineer is responsible for performing capacity and resource planning to evaluate existing network systems and makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels. Participates in network planning, engineering, architecture, and the development of technical standards and interface applications. The WAN Specialist will also be responsible for researching and evaluating new products and services. Must have experience in system design, installs, troubleshooting, and provides resolution for network problems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience working with large telecommunication companies, with the most important skill being knowledge about large carrier services as they relate to providing VoIP WAN services for large organizations. Excellent customer service skills and strong written / verbal communication skills are a must!
This position is currently available and has working hours of 8am- 5pm M-F. Interviews for this position are commencing immediately!
