Software Development Engineer
SUMMARY:
Under supervision of a Development Manager, architect, design and build web applications integrating participants with our live counseling services and their community of peers. Key aspects of this user experience include exercises participants can do online, tools to monitor progress, community activities, proactive assessment data collection, and blog-based communication. Directly incorporating participants into their counseling via web technologies is one of the significant growth areas for our business. Free & Clear is looking for software engineers who are experienced using technology, built on C# / .NET, to enable business processes. Successful candidates will have a strong level of user empathy is required, and demonstrated experience delivering usable solutions that appeal to a wide demographic. Not required, but considered to be a plus, is experience building web applications that fit into a Service Oriented Architecture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributing member of architecture, design, and development
- Acting as a lead resource on assigned feature areas
- Writing code and unit tests to realize software designs using C#/.NET
- Software implementation, supporting test and rollout
