Networking Specialist.
This person will be responsible for networking and services integration, installation, and support in the Division Headquarters and ensuring connectivity with Command Posts.
1) Deliverable 1: Cisco Networking Field Support
2) Deliverable 2: Device installation, operation, and maintenance
3) Deliverable 3: Network Monitoring and Network Management
4) Deliverable 4: Troubleshooting

1) Deliverable 1: Cisco Networking Field Support
a. Contractor will evaluate, monitor, manage, troubleshoot, and provide oversight in planning and design of current and future Network Infrastructure and Call Manager architecture within the Third Infantry Division.
b. Contractor shall possess three years verifiable experience in planning, installing, programming, operating and supporting CISCO IOS in a tactical setting to include but not limited to CISCO 6509 and 3750 switches, CISCO 3825 routers, CISCO Call Manager and VOIP telephony.
c. Contractor must hold at a minimum a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
2) Deliverable 2: Device installation, operation, and maintenance
a. Contractor will install, operate, monitor, and maintain the Network Infrastructure and Call Manager architecture at the direction of the Division staff, G6 Division Automations Management Officer (DAMO), and senior engineer.
b. Contractor will integrate the connectivity of Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) and Theater specific applications in coordination with the Division’s Digital Support Engineers (DSEs).
3) Deliverable 3: Network Monitoring and Network Management.
a. Use SNMP community strings to enable CENTCOM and theater approved network monitoring tools to monitor the status of all LAN/WAN network devices in real time.
b. Use CENTCOM and theater approved network management tools to remotely maintain and troubleshoot all LAN/WAN network devices to include but not limited to Solar Winds, HP OpenView, What’s Up Gold, TACACS, Net COP, Putty, and Secure Combined Remote Login and Telnet (CRT).
4) Deliverable 4: Troubleshooting
a. Contractor will resolve all Network and Call Manger hardware and software related problems.
5) Deliverable 6: Technical Training
a. Train Soldiers on all aspects of engineers responsibilities to include but not limited to routing, switching, network design, trunking, Virtual Trunking Protocol (VTP), Quality of Service (QoS), VLANs, network management, SNMP, multicasting, LAN/WAN protocols, and VOIP technologies.
b. Train Soldiers on all professional certifications to include but not limited to Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP), and Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE).
