Cold Fusion Contract
This is a new 3-6 month contract position. The ideal person will design and present a Web presence for the company by centralizing the 23 distributed web externally hosted functions into a consolidated core service. This will be completed with a WEB 2.0 philosophy for being an interactive nature.
The technology has not been developed yet, so this will be all new development. The target skill sets are: Skill and work experience; Technical exposure to Cold fusion, VB Scripting, Java Script; Technical exposure to WEB development and DB exposure; Technical Fluency in HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, excreta; Experience in administering an IIS Web server and knowledge of system server administration; Ability to interact with the IT development and support team; Ability to conduct themselves in the interview and demonstrate their desire for their career; and ability to multitask and to be customer service oriented.
The duties include full development and administration of WEB services. The individual will work in conjunction with and parallel too the core Administrative and major application divisions to achieve the project directives given to IT. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and supervise the implementation and management of web operations for the company; to produce web pages by developing and testing HTML and scripting languages for text, images, and other related elements; and to perform related technical work as required.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or specialized training in computer science, information systems or closely related field, with four (4) years progressively responsible work experience in building, managing and troubleshooting WEB and system services; or, any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class "D" Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must have knowledge of personal and peripheral equipment with skill in doing data entry and in the use of Microsoft Office 2000/2003 preferred, utilizing Outlook and all associated software programs. Must have knowledge of HTML and server-side scripting languages such as ASP.net and/or Cold Fusion. Must be proficient using web and graphic editors to include but not limited to Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop and Flash. Experience using DHTML, java script, CSS and other scripting/programming technologies is a plus.
