Cognos Developer
Our client in Johnston is seeking a Cognos Developer to work in the Engineering Reporting Solutions Group. This group delivers Engineering data to users on multiple levels as requested. The successful applicant will be doing both reporting and upgrade projects as needed. The client uses Cognos 8.2, Reports Studio, Query Studio, and Framework Manager. These tools will be utilized to write reports, work on upgrade projects, and both dimensional and relational data modeling.
Required Skills:
-4-5 years of experience with both pulling/writing reports and project based work in a Cognos Environment
-Experience using the Cognos tools: report studio and query studio to generate reports from a SQL Server database
-Experience using Framework Manager to generate and manipulate reports from a SQL Server database
-understanding of data modeling, datamarts/data warehousing both dimensional and relational
Pluses:
-Oracle and MS Access Database experience
-Report Net tool
