Help Desk Specialist Job Description:

Our client, a major corporation in the North Suburbs of Pittsburgh, is seeking additional staff for there Help Desk operations. We have multiple positions open. Most positions will be operating the 2nd and/or 3rd shifts. Positions will be for 6 months - 1 year.

Candidates for the positions should posses strong team skills with support via phone of remote operations. Candidates must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, a positive attitude with a focus on customer service, and the ability must be able to follow established process/procedures.

The candidate should have: previous experience with Help Desk workflow and processes; previous experience with ticket tracking software (ideally HEAT, previous experience working in a corporate environment and previous experience in a Retail POS environment would be a tremendous plus.

The candidate will support some of the following technologies:
Cisco Routers, switches wireless access points and IP telephones
IBM POS equipment (CPU, cash drawer, and monitor)
Symbol barcode scanner
TCP/IP 56 circuits/networks
IBM laser printers
Remote support technologies/tools

Candidates should be prepared to begin work within the next 3 weeks.
