Database Developer
Our client, a leader in the financial industry, currently has an opening for a Database Developer to work on a long term contract basis in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
On a daily basis, the Database Developer will manage internally developed Access databases supporting the location migration and vendor management synergy programs related to integration efforts. The Database Developer will maintain the databases, expand the database fields, reconcile to others' information, and design and distribute canned and ad hoc reports. In addition, the Database Developer will assist with designing appropriate tools, templates, project plans, and tracking mechanisms for individual shared service areas which will allow management and the business line project teams insight into the shared services’ readiness in supporting location migrations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-2-3 years database development experience working with SQL, Access and Excel
-Proven track record for problem solving, meeting deadlines, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to multi-task
-Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Background check and drug screen required
