ASP/VB.NET Developer
Our client currently has an immediate opening for a .NET Developer with experience in both ASP.NET and VB.NET to work on a long term contract basis in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
On a daily basis, the developer will be responsible for designing and developing financial applications. This role requires a strong ASP.NET / VB.NET background with a minimum of two years development with n-tiered web-based applications. Responsibilities will include testing, system management, reporting and technical documentation.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1) 2+ years developing n-tiered web-based applications
2) 5+ years experience in data-driven solutions utilizing SQL Server 2000 and ADO.NET
3) Exceptional written and verbal and communication skills
4) Self-motivated, ability to work both independently or within a team, performs well under pressure
5) Experience with financial applications, futures securities in particular, would be a plus
