Programmer Analyst (Telecom sector) Job Description
Our client, a large Telecommunications organization, anticipates the need for Senior Java Developers with strong experience in a large business environment, to serve a major initiative.
The Programmer Analyst will be a SR. Java Developer that is responsible for the coding and debugging of the application, whilst adhering to firm project deadlines. In this environment it is essential that the Developer demonstrates solid communication skills and operates well within a team, and has been part of an Enterprise Application build.
Roles:
Developers, you will be involved in developing and delivering powerful, scalable and reusable J2EE software solutions. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including planning, technical design, construction, documentation, testing and deployment.
Required Skills and Abilities
-Minimum of 3+ years developing large-scale J2EE applications
-Service oriented architecture design experience (SOA)
-Experience with multiple databases and application servers
-Design Patterns
-Java / J2EE web application development (JSP, Servlets, XML, etc.) or services development
-Framework (ie. Jakarta Struts, Spring, etc)
-UML experience using tools such as Together or Rational Rose
-Understanding of large-scale software applications in a team environment
-Java application server ( BEA Weblogic)
-ORACLE
