Quality Assurance Tester
One of TEKsystems’ clients in the Mississauga area is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Tester for a 5 month contract. The selected candidate will be working with QTP and automation tools while testing in a .NET environment. You will be responsible for analyzing the existing environment and create scripts accordingly. You will be performing regression testing as well.
Job Description
QA Analysts work as a quality agent on a project team, working with stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and prevent risks to quality arising from changes to business processes, policies and information systems. The role now requires adept understanding and application of systems technology, programming, and hands on use of complex testing tools. This includes understanding and analyzing the root causes of poor quality; test planning, test methodology, test tools used, test case design methods as well as variance reporting.
REQUIRED:
- Experience working with QA methodologies
- 7+ years experience within a QA role
- Strong QTP Experience
- Strong automation experience
- Financial experience is a definite asset
- Experience working within a .Net environment
NOTES:
In this role, the candidate will have access to Protected B Data and will need to obtain their Personal Enhanced Reliability Check (PERC).
