Network/Windows/Server Administrator
Required Skills
Six to eight years of general IT support experience
Five to seven years of managing and supporting Windows NT4/2000/2003 server operating systems in an enterprise environment
Two to three years of experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure (or ESX Server) in an enterprise environment, including planning and performing physical-to-virtual migrations
Three to five years of hands-on experience supporting and installing server hardware in a 50+ enterprise server environment
Experience supporting systems in remote data centers
Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in a 24x7 support environment with scheduled on-call duties and occasional evening and weekend work
Desired Skills
Obtained or making progress towards VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
Two+ of experience with IBM xSeries server hardware and IBM Director.
Experience with Windows clustering and storage management technologies, such as MSCS, Veritas Storage Foundations, etc.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Operations Manager and Microsoft SMS
One to three years of networked storage (SAN, NAS) experience
