.NET Application Developer
TEKsystems in Albany, NY is seeking a Web Developer that is skilled in ASP.NET and C# to work at our New York sites. The roles and responsibilities of this person will be to develop and enhance existing Intranet applications, R&D of new technologies. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings. Owning the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. Developing and owning list of final enhancements. Developing and defining application scope and objectives and preparing technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written. Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. Ensuring unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan. Assessing current status and supports data information planning. Coordinating on-call support and ensuring effective monitoring of system. Maintaining technical development environment.
Qualifications
Requires an AA, BA/BS degree or technical institute training and 5 or more years experience on one or more platforms, multi database, multi language and expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support. Must be a team player and able to work in a team environment.
