Our client, a highly trained, support service to the Department of Defense (DoD) is currently seeking a highly qualified individual in the areas of PLM, MM, SD, PP, FM, Project Administration and Training.
Project Description: Ammunition Enterprise Portal (AEP)
The Ammunition Enterprise Portal (AEP) was established as a way to integrate people, processes and infrastructure within the Ammunition Community, The mission of developing, procuring and supplying ammunition to the Warfighter. AEP offers access to applications that support the everyday business processes within our community through a single point of entry regardless of the host location, which include, ESIP, WAMs, ProMIS, Prodstat, CAP, CTC and others.
This project will utilize the AcceleratedSAP (ASAP) methodology to rapidly define and implement the functionality of the Conventional Ammunition Program (CAP) within SAP to further refresh the technical architecture of the AEP landscape and provide for a more rigorous control of the customers data.
CAPs primary functionality is to compile Bills of Material (BOMs) at the component level, apply component level pricing through the planning processes so that the Army can effectively plan for the future supply of ammunitions for the Warfighters. Anticipated SAP functionality includes Financial Planning, Sales Planning, Production Planning and Materials Management.
SAP Production Planning Consultant (PP)
Position will be responsible for serving as an SAP PP functional specialist on an implementation of SAP PP/MM/SD and financial planning. Full SAP methodology will be followed. Individual will specifically be responsible for requirements gathering/documentation/implementation/testing of their assigned area functionality and coordinating all applicable areas of functional overlap. BS/BA degree; minimum 5 years SAP configuration; Outstanding team player
Solid communication skills (written & verbal); Must possess excellent client management/relationship skills.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of specific experience with SAP functional area; 3 SAP go-lives in required functional area; thorough knowledge of SAP and ASAP methodology to facilitate seamless integration with other functional areas. Knowledge of BOM configuration.
