Cisco Network Engineer
Our Client, a rapidly growing network integration company dealing with voice, data and security is looking for a Cisco engineer to join there team.
On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be responsible for installing, implementing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Networks for schools K-12, 1-6 schools a network. The schools are primarily located in Central and Northern NJ. This individual will also audit school networks and then promote a detailed summary that shows current problems along with their resolutions. Will be responsible for establishing network and systems goals then designing and implementing small wireless networks.
In order to be qualified for this position, individuals must have a minimum of 5 year Cisco experience, 3 years installing and configuring Cisco Layer 3 Switches (2950 thru 6500). Knowledge of Internet Networking, DNS and an understanding of network security. This individual must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as problem solving skills. CCNP and/or CCDP preferred. A valid drivers license is a must.
This position is scheduled for a 6 month contract, at which point our client may offer a permanent opportunity.
