Security Engineer
TEKsystems is looking for a Security Engineer for a gaming manufacturing company in the Las Vegas Valley.
The IT Security Engineer implements information security interfaces in their computing systems, applications and network software/hardware; evaluates Internet/network-wide security threats in relation to local systems; and communicates potential information security exploits to management.
Participate in the evaluation of proposed systems and applications to determine information security or data integrity implications.
Assists with design and implementation of network and file based ACLs; develops and maintains company-wide automated information technology security monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
Develop and maintain various network security control systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, wireless networks, virtual private networks, and network account access.
Analyzes log files, reports breaches, and proposes potential solutions.
Monitors network traffic and assists IT Operations staff in troubleshooting and resolving network security issues.
Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CEH are desired.
