Senior Software Engineer - .NET Developer (ASP.NET, C#, SQL)
Our Client is hiring talented software engineers to add to their growing engineering and technology team. Primary role of the software engineer is to design, develop, enhance and maintain current and new .NET applications and web services. Excellent opportunity to work on latest technologies AJAX, ASP.NET 3.5, LINQ and WCF.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, support and migrate applications using Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, C# and SQL Server.
- Create technical deliverables in accordance with best practices, established design patterns and business requirements.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on reuse opportunities, including utilizing 3rd party software and components.
- Devise innovative methods for resolving problems or meeting business requirements.
- Share ideas and techniques with members of the development team and assist others in development and troubleshooting.
- Perform quality assurance tasks such as unit testing and design and code reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 to 5 years experience in software development.
- A four-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years experience in developing web applications with ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, T-SQL , Stored Procedure, HTML & Java Script.
- Experience working with at least one of the major RDBMS systems, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with object oriented programming, design patterns, multi-tier development, systems architecture and user interface design.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 2003, IIS 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005.
- Ability to design and develop software in a group or independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience or knowledge in any of the following is a plus: ExtJs AJAX Library, CSS, Web Services, .NET 3.5, WCF and LINQ.
