Our Parent company, Allegis Group, has a long term contractual opportunity for a .Net Developer.
Mid Level Web Developer:
The Associate Web Developer will work in the iMedia Department to assist in the creation, testing and deployment of web pages and associated systems. The Associate Web Developer will partner with a Senior Web Developer within the department.
i.Media is an internal web design and development department within Allegis Group that provides our internal business partners with the technologies needed to achieve their strategic goals.
Daily responsibilities include:
* Develop knowledge
* Development, under the direction of a Senior Web Developer
* Problem diagnosis and resolution
* Documentation including specifications, release management and bug tracking
* System maintenance
* Testing of new pages and functionality

Essential Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
* BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
* 1 year relevant development experience using Microsoft technologies
* Familiarity with ASP.NET 1.1, 2.0, development – any WPF, Silverlight is desirable
* Working knowledge of creating web pages from other documents and formatting text using CSS.
* HTML/CSS tableless layout design
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, C#, SQL, and Oracle
* Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2003, 2005/2008
* SQL Server 2000 using Enterprise manager Query analyzer – creating tables writing procedures, views, etc
* Working with Oracle 10g databases / TOAD experience a plus
* Familiarity writing AJAX based web pages
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Javascript coding experience – AJAX, Validation
* Willingness to learn on the job
