Network Architect
Our Cedar Rapids, IA client has an immediate need for a Network Architect to join their team. This position can either be contract, contract to hire, or direct placement.
This resource will be responsible for overall network architecture for the data center. This is a Windows environment and Cisco shop. This resource will primarily focuses on the design of the network and the implementation of that design. Candidates must be strong in knowledge and have experience with the following: managing routing protocols (emphasis with BGP), WAN, switches, VOIP, as well as network management tools (Solar Winds, HP Open View, Sniffer, Netflow, IPSLA, Cacti, Nagios, MRTG.) The ideal candidates will be more seasoned and mature Architects, and will need a thick skin to work in this very hectic environment. Anyone with global/international experience would be a HUGE plus.
