Senior Java Developer
One of our clients in the downtown Chicago area is seeking a Senior Level Developer that has worked on distributed applications to participate in the critical development of over 100 websites. Candidates should have seasoned Java skills and be proficient with a higher level language like Perl, Python, Ruby or Groovy. Interested candidates should also have experience with building web applications and understanding how they work.

Ø Java – J2EE
Ø Java Web Framework of some kind and Web Services
Ø Servlets, JSP & Tagging
Ø JBoss/Jetty any other container is fine
Ø GWT (Google Webtool Kit)
Ø Spring (Big Plus)
Ø Hibernate
Ø MySQL or DB Equivalent
Ø Ant
Ø Subversion
Ø CruiseControl
Ø JUnit & EasyMock
Ø Some sort of high level language experience – Perl, Python, Ruby, Groovy, PHP, etc
Ø Experience working on high load, clustered systems
Ø Comfortable with Unix/Linux
Ø Agile (Big Plus)
