Technical Lead (PeopleSoft)
We are currently are in search of a PeopleSoft Team Lead for a well established client in Honolulu.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical success and completion of projects.
- Lead design meetings and ensure that the technical solution is feasible and correct.
- Define estimates for development requests.
- Lead and coach team members including onshore/offshore members.
- Mentor developers assigned to team and/or project.
- Schedule and manage day to day development tasks.
- Working knowledge of web-based and client/server environments from an implementation, integration and support perspective.
- Obtain thorough knowledge of business units' functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in CS/MIS/ICS or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of experience with PeopleSoft Enterprise version 8.9 (or higher) Financial Suit.
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.48, PeopleSoft Application Engine, Component Interfaces, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR and Crystal Report creation
- 3-5 years experience in applications development or related area
- 2-3 years experience in dealing with team-specific business units
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
- Working knowledge of MS Windows and/or Unix/Linux OS's.
- Understanding of application programming and design concepts.
- Ability to set standards and create reusable classes/objects to reduce development time
- Ability to use query tools; knowledge of programming languages/utilities
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
