Ericsson/Systems Engineer
Preference will be given to person who already have the knowledge / Experience of Ericsson MIEP product. Good understanding, knowledge and skills for the following are required: Datacom networks (switches/routers/firewalls/load balancers/proxies/IP addresses/how nodes connect and speak via TCP/IP) and the basics of configuring an IP address and routing. WAP Gateways interworking and product knowledge. Experienced in network design, planning and engineering. System integration work experience is required. Linux or Unix (file management/understanding of the Unix or Linux file system/VI editor/accessing remote systems/SSH/SFTP/telnet). Good communication skills. Able to speak to customers and deal with difficult situations. Able to find his/her way in a large organization and deal with multiple departments involved in our services' lifecycles. Able to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Able to deal with stress and tight deadlines. Requires little guidance. Well established record in solving problems, troubleshooting, working in teams, test preparation and execution comply with tight deadlines in results-focused environments interacting with the customer. Analytical, flexible, innovative and self-motivated to meet team goals and deadlines. Good ability to learn new technologies and procedures. Strong teamwork and is a process oriented person. The main responsibilities are: Solution Consulting: working as Customer point of contact for all technical issues related to the solution. Network planning and engineering of Ericsson WAP gateway product in customer network. Gain understanding of customer network implementation in regard to Ericsson WAP gateway product and the services that it support. Test service out to the end user from "service layer" perspective. Handle & coordinate specific on-site requirements.
