GIS Developer
TEKsystems has partnered with a Government Integrator to identify a GIS Developer to join our team.
This developer position will work with our clients to create web-based Geospatial Solutions (including web map applications and web services) and utilize Geospatial Technologies to spatially-enable Business Intelligence. Responsibilities include participation in the full development life cycle, project implementation, client interaction/support and technical consulting.
Personal requirements: Excellent Communication, both verbal and written, proven ability to multi-task and adapt to changing requirements; open and interested in learning new technologies, ability to work with minimal oversight.
GIS requirements: Javascript mapping APIs (eg., Bing Maps, Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, etc.), Implementing OGC standards (WMS, WFS, etc.,), Spatial databases (eg., ArcSDE, Oracle Spatial, PostGIS, etc.,), experience with ESR ArcGIS products (Server and Desktop).
Business Intelligence: Oracle Business Intelligence or Business Objects
Technology requirements: Javascript APIs/libraries, HTML, XML, AJAX, AJAST, REST, SQL, Web services
Other preferences a plus: Oracle Spatial, Oracle APEX, Adobe Flex, Java, Web Servers (Apache, IIS, etc,), experience implementing and using open source technologies
