Systems Architect
TEKsystems is partnered with an industry leading client and they are looking for an experienced Java Architect. The duration of this contract will start at 12 months with high potential to extend based on company needs.

Position description:
- Produce project architecture designs encapsulated in Technology Architecture Documents using industry standard modeling languages and practices.
- Perform software platform design analysis.
- Perform platform software code analysis.
- Produce platform analysis reports for senior management review.
- Develop proof of concept prototypes to evaluate the products and technologies that support business objectives.
- Develop new platform supporting frameworks.
- Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy.
Tools for success
- 15 years experience in technology analysis, design and development.
- Strong requirements and systems analysis skills.
- Extensive experience using UML for business and technology modeling.
- Good working knowledge of modern software application frameworks e.g. Spring & MS.NET.
- Strong OO design skills with good basic working knowledge of software patterns.
- Some experience in data modeling and database architecture (Oracle preferred).
- Some knowledge of infrastructure architecture and the deployment of internet applications on application servers.
