Network Engineering / Administration
Our client based in Foster city is a stable and growing organization. They are looking for a network support specialist to work with their CISCO based data network. This is a contract position initially and will go permanent for the right person. You will provide tier two and tier three troubleshooting support for networking and unified communications. and will maintain all network device operating systems
Our client is looking for experience in a corporate environment with the following:
- Advanced knowledge or TCP/IP and other internet protocols.
- Experience supporting an enterprise size CISCO based WAN.
- Maintaining and monitoring Enterprise networks including most aspects of network security, including firewalls, ACLs, and VPN.
- Monitoring and upgrading of networks in line with best practices, using CISCOworks and other tools to promote efficiency, WAN Optimization, Load Balancing etc.
- VOIP experience (particularly CISCO) would be beneficial.
