Marketing Database Analyst
TEKsystems is currently searching for a Senior Database Marketing Analyst for a growing client of ours in the San Diego area.
This candidate will be working closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager to apply basic and advanced reporting solutions in support of our client's marketing tactical efforts. This role will be focused on compiling insights from internal data sources and the development, fielding, and analysis of these reports surveys to inform strategic plans and tactical initiatives.
This analyst will be working closed with secondary data sources to provide actionable insights and business trend monitoring to marketing, reporting and database analysis, assisting in the creation of reports and presentations that address high level business issues, use basic statistical analyses to create actionable insights based on data from customer transaction database, ensure the quality of and timelines of deliverables that meet internal stakeholder expectations, collaborate with other members of the marketing organization to implement process improvements, facilitate knowledge sharing and educate colleagues on data-driven decision making and partner with internal IT, corporate reporting and Marketing Science department.
A qualified candidate will have strong analytical, communication and organization skills, experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL and SQL Reporting services knowledge is a must as well. This candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have a proven ability to manage large, complex projects.
At least 4 years of experience is required in reporting/database analysis. A BA/BS degree is required and preference will be given to candidates with experience with marketing reporting and experience with secondary data. Business Objects and experience or knowledge with Unicca Affinium Campaign Management is a strong plus.
