Jr. Business Analyst
Position based in Mountain View, CA
Our client, has an immediate need for a business systems analyst with a passion for defining and driving systems development to support their partner network sales initiatives. The role requires coordination across several cross-functional teams including sales, compliance, legal, finance, policy, and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering business requirements of internal sales support system with approximately 1000 users around the globe and translating these requirements into functional specifications
- Point of contact for system users, collecting, analyzing feature requests
- Interface with engineering team to help define, outline, and prioritize feature requests
- Responsible for executing tasks as well as creating and maintaining documentation necessary to comply with internal audit recommendations.
- Analyze existing systems and perform feasibility and impact analysis for new projects and enhancements.
- Perform user acceptance testing to ensure that system enhancements meet the end user’s needs
- Responsible for providing day to day user support on system related issues
- Perform data analysis and develop metrics to aid decision making
- Support product manager to drive system development and specific releases to the agreed-upon timeline
- Responsible for training users globally on new features/workflow by creating supporting documentation and training materials
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent business analysis and requirements gathering skills with a track record of successfully supporting diverse user groups
-Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
-Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
-Familiarity with/background in systems implementations (CRM, internal workflow/sales)
-Prior experience with reporting or data warehousing tools is a plus
-Experience working cross-functionally among teams and business groups
-Ability to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity
-Organized, thorough, detail-oriented
