UNIX System Admin - Secret Clearance
TEKsystems has partnered with one of our Government Integrators to help find a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator for Montgomery, AL.
This is a 3 month contract to hire position and a Secret Clearance is required for all candidates.
Qualifications:
-4 or more years of applications engineering, field support or technical sales
experience
-Experience as a UNIX System Administrator. Preferred experience implementing a facility supporting large, enterprise-level mission-critical or business-critical applications
-Experience with Sun Solaris
-Skills in troubleshooting and tuning UNIX environments
-Experience creating comprehensive technical operations documentation (e.g., standard operations processes, preventative maintenance procedures).
-High desirable is experience as a system administrator in facilities hosting
ERP (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP) software
-Experience with server clustering, GRID computing, high-availability environments, or load balancing is a plus
-Experience working with UNIX scripting (Korn, Bourne, C) languages to accomplish administrative tasks
-Experience working with the Oracle Technology Stack (i.e., RDBMS, 9iAS, 10gAS)
-Secret Clearance required
